Design Services Agreement

Harbor & Pine Studio and Alder Coffee Co.  —  effective 1 October 2026

1. Scope. The Studio will design a new identity for the Client: a logotype, a colour palette, packaging for three blends and a set of menu boards.

2. Schedule. First concepts are due within three weeks of signing. The Client will give one round of combined feedback at each stage.

3. Fees. The total fee is $4,800, paid in two equal parts. Invoices are due within 30 days of the invoice date.

4. Ownership. On final payment the Client owns the finished artwork. The Studio may show the work in its portfolio.

    Can it really change the text that's already in a PDF?

    Yes. Choose Edit, click a paragraph and type. PDF Kit Pro rewrites that paragraph in the page itself, in the same size and colour, and in the same font when your Mac has it or Apple offers it as a free download. When neither does, it uses the closest match and tells you which.

    What about scanned documents?

    Make Searchable turns a scan into text you can find, select and copy. You can also change the words on a scanned page: PDF Kit Pro reads the line, cleans the paper behind the words you change and sets your new words at the same size, slant and ink colour. The original picture stays in the file underneath.

    Are my documents uploaded anywhere?

    Will it change my original file?

    Only when you save. Each save is written to a new file and checked before it replaces yours, and Revert to Original takes a document back to the way it was when you brought it in.

    Is a drawn signature legally binding?

    PDF Kit Pro places a picture of your handwritten signature on the page. It is not a certificate-based digital signature, so when someone asks specifically for a digital signature, use the service they name.

    Which Macs does it run on?

    Any Mac with Apple silicon running macOS 15 Sequoia or later. The Apple Intelligence tools need macOS 26 or later with Apple Intelligence turned on; without it, most of them use simpler methods that also run on your Mac.

    Is it a subscription?

    No. You pay once and PDF Kit Pro is yours: $5 for the first 50 buyers, then $9, with tax included. There's nothing to renew. If it isn't right for you, you can have a full refund within 14 days, no questions asked.

    Can I move it to a new Mac?

    Yes. One license works on one Mac at a time. On the old Mac, open PDF Kit Pro's Settings, choose License and click Deactivate This Mac, then enter your key on the new one. If the old Mac is lost or broken, write to support@pdfkitpro.app and we'll free your key.
